A Bicycle Built for ME!

Ok, so my bicycle wasn't really "built" for me, but i feel like it was!!! It was exactly, down to a T what i was looking for. It is a blue Columbia mens bike with a metal basket. I found it on craigslist for $70 and my tune-up at the adorable little bike shop down the road was only $25, so i feel like a cute new bike for less that $100 is a good deal!

My little bike is in really good shape too! it is a 1977 but only has some minor rust spots that are totally cosmetic. I have day dreams of feeling European riding around the city doing my errands, putting fresh bread in my basket to a romantic Amelie-esque soundtrack. In reality i am out of shape so i huff and puff up and down hills on my one speed and back pedal so no one hits me and i hit no one else! But it is always nice to dream huh?

Yesterday the BF and i went for a 4+ mile bike ride around the water. We saw a lot of new things and it was super fun! except the part where i think i bruised my butt from my seat and my legs hurt all night :) I know i just need to ride more and more to work out my muscles but jeepers creepers did my legs ache!

As you can see this was when i was happy and didn't realize my legs hurt yet!

They had awesome murals of natural life on the walls on one stretch of path so i had to stop and smell the flowers!

So, because of the adventure and then the hurty legs i didn't get chores or etsy stuff done so here is my to-do lit for today:

1. Make something for etsy (at least start it)
2. take pics and post my belt on etsy
3. do laundry
4. wash my floors!
5. go for a bike ride

Hopefully next time i post i will have some etsy stuff to show you!

This Little Monkey's Room!!!

Ok, so here is the post i tried to do this morning at 9:30, but Blogger didn't want to accept my pictures then...

This is my craft room in the morning... I need to clean/wash the windows, but i thought it was still pretty :)

This is one of my favorite things in my craft room. My boyfriend bought it for me as a early birthday prezzie!!! Because she has black hair like me and i collect gnomes! I have 5...none of which live outdoors...even though they are "lawn" gnomes. The print was from MultiplePersonality on etsy.



Say "Hello!" to Matty Monkey and Meghan Monkey! These are the custom sock monkeys i made for 2 christmases ago and an anniversary. Before i lived with the BF i made him these so even though we were apart we would always be together in monkey spirit. It is kind of funny i never even though about these guys when i named my shop 2lilmonkeys!


Well look for updates soon! I recently bought a bike and made some flowers for my basket and have pics from my first bike ride!!!
